L’Académie des Migrations Africaines a été organisée à Lomé au Togo du 14 au 16 octobre 2016, sous la tutelle de l’association pour l’éducation citoyenne Visions Solidaires. Pendant trois jours, les activistes, les représentant-es d’ONG venues de différents pays africains et de la diaspora  ont débattu sur les problèmes migratoires actuels en Afrique.

The African Migrations Academy was organised in Lomé, Togo, October 14-16, 2016, hosted by the association for citizen education Visions Solidaires. During three days grassroots activists and NGO-representatives from different African countries and from the diaspora debated current migration policies in Africa and the EU. The occasion for the conference was the African Union Summit on Maritime Security which was held at the same time in the Togolese capital. The Academy participants published a critical statement on the issues discussed at the Summit.
